Biography

Martino Lorenzo Fagnani is a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Humanities of the University of Pavia, Italy. His main research interest is the history of agricultural science from the sixteenth to the nineteenth century, with a particular attention to socioeconomic, environmental, and sustainability issues. He also deals with food history and the history of tourism from a global perspective, focusing on the relationship between knowledge, practice, and senses.
